The Ensemble by Aja Gabel ***THURSDAY*** October 22 at 1:30

On the afternoon of  THURSDAY OCT. 22 we will MEET IN ANNA’S YARD at 1:30 for a distanced and in-person discussion of The Ensemble by Aja Gabel.

  If you have any questions about the set up just call Anna to talk about it.

Martha called the library and arranged for The Ensemble.  Here’s her description of the procedure involved in getting your copy:

“I called the library today and ordered books. The library owns one copy, the others will be coming from other libraries. When they arrive they are left in the bags for 4 days before they are made available.  The library is only doing curbside pick-up so you have to call first, see if they have a copy available, arrange a time for your pick-up.  They suggest you wait a week from today (Sept. 17) before calling. I gave Oct 22 as the date for our meeting so they won’t be due back too soon.”

At the October meeting we will each try to bring a book to present for November’s selection.  We can use Martha’s earlier list of “happy literature” (https://bookriot.com/happy-literary-fiction/amp) or bring another un-depressing book.
